It’s time to head to the Jardin des Mattes snorkelling trail!
Set between the beaches of L’Argentière and Le Pellegrin, facing the Golden Islands, this signposted snorkelling trail in La Londe-les-Maures allows you to discover our rich underwater ecosystem in all safety and at a depth of less than 4 metres.
An amazing experience for families, friends or simply on your own, the trail offers a fun and instructive insight into our natural riches – just like our botanical trail at Camping de La Pascalinette®, but underwater!

Mediterranean Marvels at La Londe Les Maures
You will discover a host of fish species, molluscs, shellfish and even starfish, together with flowering Posidonia meadows. This protected marine plant provides precious oxygen to the Mediterranean waters.

How to visit the Sentier des Mattes?
The site is open to anyone equipped with a mask, snorkel and flippers and who knows how to swim. The trail is marked out with 7 numbered buoys fitted with signposts to direct you.

Benefiting from a lifeguard in July and August, the site also offers guided tours run by La Londe-les-Maures Tourist Office (€8 for adults, €4 for children aged 8-12 years). “Aquaguides” for identifying the various species are also available from the Tourist Office.
