Presentation

Natural elegance

Not everyone can claim to have “exceptional vegetation“! And to get where we are today, our enthusiastic and talented team of gardeners have had to make some very careful decisions. With the addition of Blue Fescue or Festuca glauca, the gardens of our four-star campsite Les Jardins de La Pascalinette ® in the Var, French Riviera-Côte d’Azur, have undeniably become even more beautiful and refreshing!

This ornamental grass, originating from the mountainous regions of Europe, was chosen for its delicate, dense and striking silvery blue foliage! Its unique appearance adds another essential touch of colour and texture to our flowerbeds.

A touch of freshness all year round

Another advantage of Blue Fescue is that it maintains its intense blue colour throughout the year. Unlike other plants that sometimes lose their vibrancy during the warmer months, this grass retains a vibrant hue, offering a striking contrast to the neighbouring plants. What’s more, Blue Fescue doesn’t require much pruning, so it is an ideal choice for people seeking a low-maintenance plant.

Whether it is planted in beds, borders or pots, this pretty, undemanding evergreen grass remains magnificent all year round, adding a touch of freshness to even very arid landscapes, such as Mediterranean gardens.

Compact, colourful and graphic, it is one of our campers’ favourite plants!
