Dracaena

Presentation

A classic in the gardens of Provence

Ah, the Dracaena… The unsung hero of our gardens! Although it often plays a secondary role and isn’t as attention-seeking as, say, a dazzling red rose or majestic palm tree, this plant definitely deserves all our admiration!

With its slightly gangly appearance, as if it had just woken up after a long nap (rather like our campers emerging from their sun loungers!), the Dracaena stands peaceful, while other plants vye for attention. But what the Dracaena lacks in flamboyance, it more than makes up for in sturdiness and reliability. It is the ideal neighbour: easy to maintain and easily adaptable to all soil types!

With its thick, flexible leaves, the Dracaena is the perfect addition to every exotic garden. Capable of adapting to all sorts of environmental conditions, from direct sunshine to partial shade and dry to slightly damp soil, it is perfectly at home in the alleys of our four-star campsite Les Jardins de La Pascalinette ®!

Originating from the tropical regions of Africa, Asia and the Americas, Dracaena is an evergreen ornamental plant that adds an elegant touch to every garden. You will often find it at Nos Coins de Paradis ® (Our Corners of Paradise) throughout the Var area, French Riviera-Côte d’Azur!

A vast variety of colours

Ranging from bright green to dark red, yellow or cream, its foliage offers a certain refinement that merits pride of place in the flower bed – with all due respect to the “flashier” plants of course!

As you can see, the Dracaena is right at home in our seaside campsite’s exceptional vegetation!
