What is the “Wine & Discovery” label ?
Awarded by Atout France for a duration of 3 years on the recommendation of the Wine Tourism Council, the “Vignobles & Découvertes” Wine & Discovery label is attributed to establishments with a dual-prong tourism and wine vocation, providing a variety of touristic products and services to help visitors plan their stay and select high-quality service providers.
Your favourite campsite in the Var, French Riviera-Côte d’Azur satisfied all of the label’s stringent criteria, ranging from accommodation to catering and showcasing of local know-how. We are now a proud member of the Wine & Discovery network, comprising over 70 professionals in Provence.
Spanning the “Vignobles de Provence, Méditerranée – Porte des Maures” territory, the Wine & Discovery label, with its dual tourism and wine vocation, was awarded to us for a duration of 3 years. It is a genuine window onto authentic Provence and our time-honoured winegrowing traditions.
Our vineyards, a sensory voyage through Provence
Our regional vineyards are a genuine Provençal treasure, promising visitors a unique wine tourism experience. Nestled between sea and mountain, our terroir enjoys exceptional winegrowing conditions. The soil and Mediterranean climate foster an ideal environment, producing wines with rich and varied aromas that are the pride of the local growers.
The terroir of La Londe, a coveted regional Cru
Côtes de Provence appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) ‐ The terroir of La Londe also spans the towns of Bormes‐les‐Mimosas, La Crau and Hyères‐les‐Palmiers. Bathed in maritime air, it produces high-quality white rosé and red wines, steeped in aromas that express our wonderful Mediterranean grape varieties (syrah, grenache and mourvèdre, to name but a few) to the full. The local vineyards are reputed for their time-honoured winegrowing know-how and commitment to tradition.
Calling all wine buffs! Many of the local vineyards host guided tours, Provence wine tasting and oenology workshops unveiling the secrets of our local wines. Whether you are a connoisseur or simply keen to discover the region’s authentic flavours, the vineyards and cellars around La Londe are an absolute must-do during your stay.

Côtes de Provence AOC: in La Londe and beyond!
The Côtes de Provence appellation spans around 50,000 acres and around a hundred towns located in three French administrative areas or départements, including the Var. It produces an impressive 800,000 hectolitres of wine every year, with 90% rosés!
The appellation comprises five sub-appellations: Côtes de Provence Fréjus, Côtes de Provence La Londe, Côtes de Provence Notre Dame des Anges, Côtes de Provence Pierrefeu and Côtes de Provence Sainte Victoire.
