Located just a few minutes from the town centre, these small zoological gardens harbour an astonishing collection of tropical animals, ranging from monkeys to lemurs, giant tortoises and colourful bird species, topped with lush, exotic vegetation perfect for a walk in the shade.

Good to know: the gardens host treasure hunts for children from time to time. Tour length, 1 ½ to 2 hours.

2. Have fun on plage de l’Argentière

THE family beach in La Londe. Its calm, shallow waters allow children to splash around in all safety, so mum and dad can enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation. Lifeguards are on site during the summer season, and you’ll find snacks and toilets nearby.

Practical tip: get there before 10 a.m. in summer to avoid the crowds and make sure you can park easily. The car parks are free.

3. Enjoy an adventure on Porquerolles island

by boat from the port of La Londe les Maures, Porquerolles is a delight for all ages. No cars, golden sandy beaches and bike rides under the pines… Children love its “Treasure Island” feel. Sporty families can enjoy exploring the local trails leading to spectacular viewpoints.

Recommendation for families with tiny tots: hire a bike fitted with a trailer or baby seat when you arrive on the island.

Out of all of the Var region’s campsites, what makes Camping de La Pascalinette so exceptional?
Its vegetation! A campsite with this much shade is extremely rare!
Many of our trees and plants are far older than the Campsite’s 50 years. Some date back over 120 years…
All of the vegetation planted in the Sixties has grown- a lot – madly in fact!
We are lucky enough to be home to many different tree species, including 10 varieties of mimosa, 3 varieties of cypress, 3 varieties of oak, 5 varieties of eucalyptus, 5 varieties of pine, etc.
Thanks to our plants and trees, you can now travel the world while enjoying a peaceful holiday in the South of France, Provence-Mediterranean, at “Camping de La Pascalinette”!

Here’s an insight into the origins of our vegetation: La Londe-les-Maures, Var, Provence, Canary Islands, South Africa, North America, Arizona, Mexico, Guatemala, Chilli, China, Asia, Australia and New Zealand!
NB: our trees are so tall that we use a crane to install our mobile homes so as not to harm them!

Sport at the Campsite

There are plenty of opportunities to have fun, pamper yourself and keep fit at the campsite and along the Mediterranean coast!

At Les Jardins de La Pascalinette® four-star campsite pool:

• Aqua gym several mornings a week,
• Pool evening on Saturdays,
• Water polo and water volleyball matches,
• “Water Scrabble” contests

Ready for some laughs?!

Diving: mini maiden dive at the campsite pool!

We’ll be offering a whole new activity this summer in partnership with the diving club “Eco-plongée” based in La Londe-les-Maures: an introduction to scuba diving at the campsite’s heated pool!

After your maiden dive, you’re sure to want to head out and discover the beautiful sea beds of the Bay of Hyères, the snorkelling trails of La Londe and Port-Cros, magnificent diving spots off the islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles and many aquatic excursions open to families… In short, all the marvels of the Med!

This activity will be on offer to campers every Tuesday at the pool from 6.30-7.30 p.m., with an additional session on Sunday afternoons!
The mini maiden dive is open to everyone from age 8 years upwards (parents must be present for children). Participation €1.

A City Stadium at the campsite!

A great way to keep your children, teenagers and all the family busy and enjoy your holiday in the South of France, Provence-Mediterranean to the full!

Set just next to the large heated pool, the children’s play area, boules courts, ping-pong tables, fitness machines and games room, the City Stadium (12 m x 24 m) awaits you for a host of fun activities and contests organised by the campsite:

• volleyball,
• basketball,
• handball,
• tennis,
• and, of course, football!

We will lend you balls and the volleyball net!

The City Stadium features goals with nets and built-in basketball hoops, multi-function posts, a central net and low wall bench for spectators.
And around it you’ll find outdoor fitness equipment (accessible) and ping-pong tables!

Running and jogging

The campsite perimeter measures around 1 km and offers a pleasant loop for runners to do once or more!

Playground at the campsite for our little sports enthusiasts full of energy!

Children enjoy a safe playground fitted with swings, a slide and spring rider right near the restaurant terrace!

Campsite activities also include walks on the coastal footpath between La Londe and Bormes, and Hyères and Giens in the beautiful Var area…
