The villages 10th and 13th-century lanes are dotted with pretty, wrought iron plaques witnessing Mons’ medieval past. Stroll around the village and up to Chapelle Notre-Dame, a 17th-century chapel with magnificent views over the village.

If you’re a nature lover, don’t miss a visit to the neighbouring Gorges de la Siagne – the gorge is an absolute marvel.
