La Fossette beach in Le Lavandou
Nicknamed “la souriante” (the smiling one), Plage de La Fossette
Fine sand – gentle slope – restaurants – shower – toilets

Located under 20 km from your favourite four-star campsite Les Jardins de La Pascalinette ®, or 25 minutes by car (1 hr 10 mins by bike), Plage de la Fossette, a genuine pearl of Le Lavandou, invites campers to enjoy an enchanting day out with sweeping views over the Mediterranean Sea and all the way to the Golden Islands. A moment out of time, bathed in the splendour of the sea, soothing sunshine and the inimitable quality of light of the Côte d’Azur.
This golden sandy beach offers truly magical views. Soak in the infinite blue of the sea and sky, framed by the gentle curves of the coast and gorgeous Mediterranean vegetation. Plage de La Fossette is instilled with the discreet charm of an exotic island and comes complete with translucent waters… Far quieter than the beaches located in the town centre, this little Coin de Paradis® Corner of Paradise is appreciated for its beauty and lush green surroundings.

It offers a magnificent alternative to the campsite’s water park if you fancy a relaxing day out on the Mediterranean shores.
The cove is sheltered from the gusting Mistral wind and bathed in sunshine from morning onwards. A few pines offer light shade, ideal for an afternoon siesta or family picnic.
Children enjoy playing in the shallow waters under the attentive eye of their parents – please note that no lifeguard is present.
Dogs are not allowed in summer. We recommend arriving early to make the most of this little corner of paradise. An easy pathway dotted with steps leads to the beach (not suitable for people with reduced mobility).
This beach is situated in the Fossette quarter of Le Lavandou, adjacent to Plage Saint-Clair beach. You can reach it by following signs to Saint Tropez from Le Lavandou port (D559 road) by car or bike, or on foot from the town centre via the coastal footpath (the views are absolutely stunning). You’ll find a few free parking spaces along the road but they are soon snapped up in summer!
