The “pearl”

Golden sands – Shower – South-facing – No dogs allowed

Situated around 20 minutes by car from Les Jardins de La Pascalinette, Plage de St. Clair – known to insiders as “the pearl” – is a pretty, sandy beach, ideal for bathing, scuba diving and snorkelling.

What we love the most? The glittering sand and magnificent vistas over the Golden Islands!

You’ll find toilets on site, as well as pedalos, stand-up paddleboards and sun loungers for hire. The (tiny) downside? The car park is a bit of a walk away (although that’s also a plus as it means the beach is quieter!). The walk from the centre of Le Lavandou is delightful, and you can even get there by bike from the campsite (just 16 km) on the superb coastal cycle path running through the town centre.

You’ll find beautiful and more secluded little coves dotted along the coastal footpath a little further on from the beach.

Beach restaurants and lifeguard from May to September. To reach the beach by car, take the D98 road, then the D559 to St. Clair. By bike, cycle to La Londe then take the coastal cycle path.
