Notre Dame de Consolation in Hyères

© Hyères Tourisme

Set on Costebelle hill, just 20 minutes from Camping de La Pascalinette®, Notre Dame de Consolation chapel was rebuilt after the ancient sanctuary devoted to Notre Dame was destroyed during the Allied Landings in Provence in 1944.

Of simple, contemporary design, the chapel features magnificent stained glass windows, retracing the story of the sanctuary since the era of Saint Louis.

Costebelle hill is set overlooking Hyères and its bay and offers super views all the way to Cape Bénat (Brégançon Fort) and Port-Cros island. It is an ideal spot for a tranquil walk with all the family.

Free access, on-site parking.

Open every day all year round from 8 am to 7 pm.
